An Idea I Had to Chase
I wanted to build something that felt like a breath of fresh air, a digital space you don't forget.
The concept hit randomly, the way the best ones do, and I just went all out. A field, clouds coming at you, gamelan drifting in from somewhere, a desk that belongs to a real person.
That's the thing about design. The idea arrives uninvited and you either chase it or you don't. I chased this one.

The Work
I don't know how to do just one thing.
Hands, head, heart. That's the order I work in. Furniture before interfaces. Drawing before products.
Ten years across disciplines and I still have way more to learn. Ran an AI company in legal intelligence for a while, worked across furniture, graphic design, UI/UX, product, coding.
Now I run a design studio. The through line in all of it is I just can't make something without caring too much about it.

What Drives Me
The ordinary stuff nobody thinks about.
I'm heavily inspired by Miyazaki-san, someone who spends ten minutes showing a character eat food. Just a person, alive in a moment.
That's what I want from design. Something so real it comes alive. I want to build a studio around ordinary objects, the ones people touch every day without a second thought.
I wish more ideas would just arrive the way the good ones do. The random ones are always the best

Good Work Needs the Right People
Let's build something
The best work I've done came from people who cared deeply about what they were building. Not the brief, the thing itself.
Someone with a real problem, a real vision, enough trust to figure it out together.
I dare to ask questions even when it gets uncomfortable. I push back when something feels off and I say so early.
Good work is uncomfortable sometimes. I show up fully, stay until it's right, and treat whatever we're making like it matters.
